Sarah Turner of Rocky Mount tries out Hunn's unusual mower.

Lake girl Heather Hoy on Harley mower.

Swimsuit models Sarah Turner and friend Heather Hoy were good sports. I coaxed them to pose for a few pics with the mower. They had just returned to the plaza after sunbathing.

Mower is on display at Island Choppers (Bridgewater Plaza) in Moneta, VA.

Harley Mower

John Hunn of Smith Mountain Lake loves his Harleys . In fact he loves them so much that he went to the extreme of outfitting a new Murray riding mower with leftover parts from his collection of vintage and new bikes. (At present he owns a chopped out Harley Sportster, an award-winning Ultra Classic, and a 2005 Pearl Turquoise Fat Boy). His wife (who he admits is the better rider) prefers a customized Honda Shadow... but he's working on changing that.
The self-employed owner of a home maintenance and renovation business has also created several shrines to honor his heroes (Harley and Davidson) by customizing an Orange '57 Chevy, a 1940 Chevy Master Deluxe and an 1923 T-Bucket Roadster with Harley insignia.
He credits Paulie Tuttle and the Discovery Channel's American Chopper as his main influences.
When asked if he used the mower, he replied "it wouldn't be worth a damn if you couldn't use it."
